Artist’s statement

‘I feel that the artist becomes blind to life, so he see’s through his hands.

I paint out of love for love.

I find it is not the symbol, but the sphere, and yet, I find symbolism within natural phenomena which is an affirmation of my purpose. Romantic apotheosis, clouds become angelic.

Beauty is the indefinable prison of life, and I its criminal: seeking beauty to confine me. Till morning comes, then what prison can contain?

The shadow of the passing sun, my limitations, my paint, brushes inspiration, despair.

I often feel that the madness in me is my passionate pursuit for sanity.’
